No. Ludo Ghar requires a player-level capture before any token enters its home column; otherwise tokens continue around. Keep the player's shared condition separate from each token's journey. This is a no-money exercise using that named ruleset.
What the capture condition means
Keep two statuses separate: a per-player capture flag and each token’s lap status. The player’s flag changes to “met” after any valid capture by that player. A token’s lap status records whether it is still travelling around the main track, approaching its entry, or already in the home column. The flag may permit entry, but it does not move a token from an arbitrary square or replace the required dice movement.
Hypothetical state: R1 captures, R2 does not
Hypothetical example: Red token R1 lands on an opponent’s occupied, non-safe square and captures that token. Red’s player capture flag is now met. R2 has made no capture, but it completes its lap and reaches the point where a legal move would enter the home column. Because the player’s condition is already met, R2 may enter if the roll and exact movement are otherwise legal. R2 does not need a personal capture first.
Hypothetical state: no red capture yet
Hypothetical example: Red has not captured anything. R2 completes its lap and arrives at the home-column entry point. Its position alone is not enough: R2 does not enter the column under this ruleset. Instead, it continues around the main track when the rules and roll require movement. The player flag remains not met, while R1 and R2 each retain their own lap status.
Applying the rule without mixing variants
Before judging a move, check three separate questions: Has this player completed a capture? Has this token completed its lap? Does the current roll give exact legal movement? A “met” capture flag answers only the first question. It does not prove that every token can enter immediately, and it does not override other movement restrictions. Other Ludo products may use different entry or home-column rules, so apply this explanation only when the LudoGhar rule set is the one being used.
